Η περι-εμφυτευματίτιδα είναι ένα πραγματικό πρόβλημα που πολλοί από εμάς συναντάμε στην καθημερινή οδοντιατρική. Τα συμπτώματα μερικές φορές αγνοούνται και συχνά η νόσος δεν αντιμετωπίζεται επαρκώς. Αυτό μπορεί να οδηγήσει στην ανάπτυξη μεγάλων οστικών ελλειμμάτων και στην απώλεια εμφυτευμάτων. Τι είναι όμως πραγματικά γνωστό για την περιεμφυτευματίτιδα και την αντιμετώπισή της; Θα συζητήσουμε πώς μπορούμε να μειώσουμε τη συχνότητα εμφάνισης αυτής της νόσου αναλύοντας τους παράγοντες κινδύνου και θα εξετάσουμε πώς μπορούμε να αντιμετωπίσουμε και να ελέγξουμε την περιεμφυτευματίτιδα με την πάροδο του χρόνου.
